上堂：「臘月十五天降雪，為瑞為祥無空闕，文殊露出廣長舌，普賢大士得一橛。如何是那一橛？看錮鏴著生鐵。」

Ascending the high seat: "On the fifteenth of the twelfth month, snow falls from the sky; / It serves as an auspicious sign without omission. / Mañjuśrī reveals his broad and long tongue; / The Great Being Samantabhadra obtains one piece. / What is that one piece? / Look at the mender fitting pig iron."
