上堂：「智不到處切忌道著，道著即頭角生。」舉起拂子云：「頭角生也，是驢是馬，還識得麼？若識得，不妨向異類中行；若識未得，永劫沈淪。」

Ascending the high seat: "Where wisdom does not reach, be strictly careful not to speak of it; if you speak of it, horns will sprout on your head." Holding up his fly-whisk, he said: "Horns have sprouted! Is it a donkey or a horse? Do you recognize it? If you recognize it, you may freely walk among different species; if you do not yet recognize it, you will sink for eternal eons."
