6.23

上堂：「秋江清淺時，白露和煙島，良哉觀世音，全身入荒草。在荒草，不須討。為甚麼如此？不識大哥妻，元來是嫂嫂。」

Ascending the hall, [the Master] said: "When the autumn river is clear and shallow, / White dew mingles with the misty island. / Excellent indeed is Avalokiteśvara, / Plunging the whole body into the overgrown grass! / In the overgrown grass, no need to search. / Why is it like this? / Not recognizing elder brother's wife, / She turns out to be sister-in-law after all!"
