6.26

上堂：「撲落非他物，縱橫不是塵，山河及大地，全露法王身。」驀拈拄杖卓一下云：「這箇是拄杖子，那箇是法王身？」又舉起云：「這箇是法王身，那箇是拄杖子？」遂擲下云：「既已撲落，又非他物，却是箇甚麼？已是頭上安頭。」喝一喝云：「更是箇甚麼？」

Ascending the hall, [the Master] said: "'Falling down is not another thing; all crisscrossing movements are not dust. The mountains, rivers, and great earth completely manifest the body of the Dharma King.'" Abruptly taking up his staff, he struck it once and said: "This is the staff; which is the body of the Dharma King?" Raising it up again, he said: "This is the body of the Dharma King; which is the staff?" Thereupon he threw it down and said: "Since it has already fallen down and is not another thing, what after all is it? It is already putting a head on top of a head!" He gave a shout and said: "What more is it?"
