9.22

問僧：「恁麼也不得，不恁麼也不得，恁麼不恁麼總不得，作麼生？」僧云：「總得。」師云：「拋却甜桃樹，緣山摘醋梨。」

He asked a monk, "'Thus' will not do, 'not thus' will not do, 'thus or not thus' will not do at all. What about it?" The monk said, "All will do." The Master said, "Casting away the sweet peach tree, you climb the mountain to pick sour pears."
