Ascending the hall: "An ancient said: 'The attendant burning incense has already become excessive business; the assembly inquiring after health only shows the disease has grown deeper.' Talking like this is very much like moxa cauterization where there is no illness, or rubbing one's eyes to produce flowers. As for Yuwang, it is not so: the attendant burning incense is not beyond duty; the assembly inquiring after health is fitting and proper. If you deliberate upon this as the Buddhadharma, you will enter hell in this very life." He stepped down from the seat.
