雲頂山敷禪師，成都府帥請就衙內陞座，時有樂營將，出禮拜，起回顧街前下馬臺云：「一口吸盡西江水即不問，且請和尚吞却街前下馬臺。」師展兩手唱云：「細抹將來。」樂營將於此有省。

When the military commissioner of Chengdu Prefecture invited Chan Master Fu of Mount Yunding to ascend the seat in the government offices, a military music officer came forward, bowed, rose, and looking back toward the horse-dismounting platform before the street, said, "Swallowing the West River in a single gulp I do not ask about; I only ask the Venerable to swallow up the horse-dismounting platform in front of the street." The master held out both hands and called out, "Grind it fine and bring it here!" The military music officer had an awakening at this.
