上堂，舉：「修山主云：『是拄不見拄，非拄不見拄，是非已去了，是非裏薦取。』」師喝云：「孟春猶寒在，日月幾時遷？」

Ascending the hall, he cited: "Master of the Mountain Xiu said: 'Being supported, one does not see the support; not being supported, one does not see the support. Right and wrong having already departed, understand right within right and wrong.'" The Master shouted and said: "Early spring is still cold; when will the sun and moon shift?"
