2.58

建鳳林庫上堂：「鳳非竹實而不食，非醴泉而不飲，因甚却在板橋村。」卓主丈：「有林自是真棲處，風淡惟聞靜夜鳴。」

Ascending the hall upon building the Fenglin Storehouse: "A phoenix eats nothing but bamboo seeds and drinks nothing but sweet spring water; why then is it at the village of Wooden Bridge?" Striking the staff: "Where there is a grove, it is truly a genuine dwelling; when the wind is mild, one only hears its cry in the quiet night."
