3.38

佛涅槃上堂：「大覺世尊，為見眾生執妄為本，當百花明媚萬葆敷榮，示以入滅之相。汝等比丘，若能於此著得一隻眼，釋迦自釋迦，波旬自波旬。」

Ascending the hall on the Buddha's Parinirvāṇa: "The Greatly Awakened World-Honoured One, seeing that sentient beings grasp at delusion as their root, displayed the appearance of entering extinction just when the hundred flowers were bright and charming and myriad sprouts were luxuriantly flourishing. If you bhikṣus can fix a single eye upon this: Śākya is of himself Śākya; Pāpīyān is of himself Pāpīyān."
