新天童自蔣山來，上堂：「鏡容鷹爪面目可憎，掉發南嶽，下山教化，從臾檮林，對御講經，不守疆界，干犯清平，滅得中峯正法眼，破沙盆子話方行。」

The new abbot of Tiantong came from Jiangshan. Ascending the hall, the Master said: "With a face like a mirror and talons like a hawk, his features are dreadful. Shaking his locks, he left Mount Nanyue, descending the mountain to transform beings. Urged on by Taolin, he expounded the sutras before the emperor. Not keeping within boundaries, he offended the peaceful realm. Having extinguished the true Dharma eye of Zhongfeng, only then did the talk of the broken earthen basin make its way."
