大隋真和尚因僧辭，隋問：「甚處去？」僧云：「峨眉禮普賢去。」隋竪起拂子云：「文殊普賢總在者裏。」僧畫一圓相，拋向背後。隋云：「侍者將一貼茶，與者僧去。」

When a monk took his leave of Upādhyāya Zhen of Dasui, Sui asked: "Where are you going?" The monk said: "I am going to Mount Emei to pay homage to Samantabhadra." Sui held up his whisk and said: "Mañjuśrī and Samantabhadra are both right here." The monk drew a circle and threw it behind his back. Sui said: "Attendant, bring a packet of tea and give it to this monk."
