上堂云。祇箇是家風。明明入混融。江光蘆映月。夜色水吞空。攃手懸崖下。分身萬像中。回塗登鳥道。恰恰是神通。

Ascending the hall, [the Master] said: "Only this is our family style: / Luminescently entering complete blending. / River light and reeds reflect the moon; / Night shades and water swallow the void. / Letting go of one's hands beneath the hanging cliff, / Dividing the body amid myriad forms. / Turning back along the way to tread the bird's path, / This is precisely spiritual penetration."
