莊上回上堂云。南畝黃雲禾弄穟。中洲白雪葦成花。歸舟恰向其閒過。一棹清風夜到家。諸禪德。長蘆尋常不與諸人世諦流布。真箇其中行履來。且道。諸人行履又作麼生。良久云。誰敢壓良為賤。

Returning from the manor, [the Master] ascended the hall and said: "In the southern fields, yellow clouds—the grain displays its ears; on the central islet, white snow—the reeds bloom into flower. The returning boat passes right through their midst; with a single oar in the pure breeze, it arrives home by night. Venerable Chan monks, usually Changlu does not engage in worldly conventions with you people, but truly walks within this. Tell me, how do you people walk?" After a long pause, he said: "Who dares to oppress the free into servitude?"
