長蘆書至。上堂云。靈機未轉。難窺青白之痕。寶印當權。密布正偏之位。壺中消息。劫外春光。還他一氣連枝。須是同身共命。明頭轉側。暗裡逢迎。直得千里同風去也。諸人還體悉得麼。明月滿空天水淨。弟兄俱在合同舡。

A letter from Changlu arrived. Ascending the hall, he said: "When the wondrous capacity has not yet turned, it is difficult to perceive the trace of blue and white. When the precious seal is in power, the positions of upright and bias are secretly arranged. The news from within the pot; the spring radiance beyond the kalpa. It truly belongs to the single breath of connected branches; one must share the same body and common destiny. Turning and leaning on the bright side, welcoming each other in the dark—it directly achieves having the same wind across a thousand miles. Do you people fully understand? The bright moon fills the sky, heaven and water are pure; brothers are both in the boat of unity."
