1.51

上堂云。百骸俱潰散。一物鎮長靈。白雲功盡青山秀。青山路轉白雲迎。不曾死不曾生。金繩拽轉泥牛鼻。半夜驅來海上耕。

Ascending the hall, [the Master] said, "The hundred bones all scatter and collapse; one thing is constantly and eternally numinous. The white clouds' function exhausted, the green mountains are graceful; the green mountains' road turns, the white clouds welcome. Never dead, never born. The golden cord jerks the mud ox's nose around; at midnight it is driven to plow upon the sea."
