1.74

上堂云。一雨一晴。底事分明。六塵昏擾。世界崢嶸。一心虛泊。萬法齊平。出得氣是爾鼻孔。覰得破是爾眼睛。還會麼有緣不是余朋友。無用雙眉却弟兄。

Ascending the hall, [the Master] said, "One spell of rain, one spell of clear sky: the matter is distinct and clear. The six dusts are in murky confusion; the world is towering and rugged. One mind is emptily moored; the myriad dharmas are equally level. What breathes out air is your nostrils; what sees through is your eyes. Do you understand? Those with karmic affinity are not my friends; the pair of useless eyebrows are brothers instead."
