舉三聖問雪峯。透網金鱗。未審。以何為食。峯云。待汝出網來向汝道。聖云。一千五百人善知識。話頭也不識。峯云。老僧住持事煩。頌曰。

Pointer: Sansheng asked Xuefeng, "The golden scale that has passed through the net—I wonder, on what does it feed?" Xuefeng said, "Wait until you come out of the net, and I will tell you." Sansheng said, "A good spiritual friend of fifteen hundred people, yet you do not even recognize the topic of talk!" Xuefeng said, "This old monk has many monastery affairs to manage." The verse says:
