舉雲門問乾峯。請師答話。峯云。到老僧也未。門云。恁麼則某甲在遲也。峯云。恁麼那恁麼那。門云。將謂侯白更有侯黑。頌曰。
Yunmen asked Qianfeng, "I request the master to answer my words." Feng said, "Has it reached this old monk yet?" Men said, "In that case, I have been tardy." Feng said, "So, then? So, then?" Men said, "I thought Hou the White would be followed by Hou the Black." The ode says:
