上堂三十六物一時空。空空空處自光通。轉側末山不露頂。非男女相主人翁。主人翁。借伴能來用莫窮。百草頭上俱胝老。塵塵剎剎是家風。只如出沒源底往來路頭。且作麼生體悉。還會麼。物外獨騎千里象。萬年松下擊金鐘參。

Ascending the hall: The thirty-six components are all at once empty; in the very place of emptiness, light naturally penetrates. Turning and shifting on Moshan, the peak is unrevealed; the master of the house has neither male nor female form. The master of the house! Borrowing companions, he comes; his function is inexhaustible. Atop the hundred grasses stands old Juzhi; every dust and every land is the family style. Just as for the source and depth of emergence and disappearance, and the crossroads of coming and going: how do you understand and realize it? Do you understand? Outside of things, riding alone on a thousand-li elephant; / Striking the golden bell beneath a ten-thousand-year pine. Participate!
