上堂。好諸禪德靈雲見桃華悟道。正是如今底時節。諸人各是丈夫漢。還有覷得破底眼麼。明得了底心麼。如或未然。天童為爾下注脚去也。靈雲却解見桃華。老眼如今冷淡。些拈却面前案山子。柱門路直不橫斜。

Ascending the hall: Fine worthies of Chan! Lingyun saw peach blossoms and awakened to the Way—it was precisely this season right now! You are all great fellows; do you have the eye that pierces through? Do you have the mind that understands clearly? If not yet so, Tiantong will provide a commentary for you: Lingyun indeed knew how to see the peach blossoms; / These old eyes are now rather cool and detached. / Cast aside the table mountain before your face: / The road to the post at the gate is straight, not crooked.
