上堂。三界唯心唯心三界。一切法空觀自在。處處光明處處身。者回泡幻同無礙。吐雲如山。吞川如海。了無毛髮居其外。萬象森羅盡我家。只箇虛空肚皮大。

[Hongzhi] ascended the hall: "The three realms are mind-only, mind-only is the three realms. All dharmas are empty—contemplating with ease. Everywhere light, everywhere the body—this time bubbles and phantoms are equally without obstruction. Spitting clouds like mountains, swallowing rivers like the sea, not a single hair remains outside. The myriad phenomena arrayed are entirely my home; this empty space alone has a vast belly."
