上堂獨立卓卓。不為形殼之所拘。周行綿綿。不為方隅之所礙。妙超物表。明漏壺中。白雲之兒。風斂寒空霽淨。青山之父。煙含一帶秋癯。且道。作麼生得恁麼相應去還會麼。夜明簾外主。不落偏正方。

Ascending the hall: Standing alone and towering, not confined by the bodily shell; traveling everywhere continuously, not obstructed by directions or corners. Wondrously surpassing the phenomenal realm, light leaks from within the vase. The child of the white clouds: the wind gathers the cold sky clear and clean; the father of the green mountains: mist encloses a belt of autumn gauntness. Tell me, how can one attain such correspondence? Do you understand? The master outside the nocturnal-luminescence screen / Does not fall into the biased or upright square.
