4.158

上堂位處功回。化佛入十方而普能受供。用中體合。至人游三界。而初不現身。如雲出岫以無心。似月印江而有應。如是也。不在不失。不壞不雜。所以教中道。一華一佛國。一葉一釋迦。各坐菩提場。一時成佛道。諸禪德。還知根根塵塵在在處處。盡是釋迦老子受用處麼。若於轉處不留情。繁興永處那伽定。

Ascending the hall: At the position, function returns: transformation Buddhas enter the ten directions and are universally able to receive offerings. Within function, essence unites: the perfected person wanders the three realms without initially manifesting a body. Like clouds emerging from mountain peaks without intention, like the moon reflecting in the river with resonance. Being as such, it is neither absent nor lost, neither destroyed nor mixed. Therefore the teachings say: 'One flower, one Buddha realm; one leaf, one Śākya. Each sits upon the seat of enlightenment, simultaneously realizing the Buddha Way.' Venerable Zen worthies! Do you also know that every sense-faculty and every dust, every place and every spot, is entirely old man Śākya's realm of enjoyment? If you do not linger with feelings at the turning place, / Amidst bustling activity you constantly abide in the nāga samādhi.
