歲旦上堂。宿雨洗去山面塵。東君料理山家春。浩劫壼中勿新歲。枯木巖前有古人。寒暑不到。以法界為處。齒髮不老。以虛空為身。坐間默有相傳意。川上乾無逝去津。

Ascending the hall on New Year's Day: / "Last night's rain washed away the dust on the mountain's face; / The Lord of the East attends to spring at the mountain dwelling. / Inside the flask of boundless kalpas, there is no new year; / Before the cliff of withered wood, there is the ancient person. / Cold and heat do not reach it; taking the Dharma realm as its place. / Teeth and hair do not age; taking empty space as its body. / In the midst of sitting, there is the intent silently transmitted; / Above the stream, it is completely dry with no departing ford."
