上堂。道契如如。非有非無。靜也神之在谷。應也像之在珠。了無所住照不失虛。無影杖子兩人扶。清華臨於至鑑。深密守於元樞。機輪文彩妙窮初。霽色廓澄兮秋懷月滿。秀稜重疊兮雲卷山癯。

Ascending the hall: The Way accords with suchness, neither existent nor non-existent. In stillness, it is the spirit residing in the valley; in responding, it is the reflection in the pearl. Completely dwelling nowhere, its illumination never loses its emptiness. A shadowless staff supported by two men; pure splendor facing the supreme mirror; profound secrecy guarding the primal pivot. The wheel of function and refined elegance exhaustively probe the beginning. Cleared skies are vast and serene, an autumn breast holding the full moon; elegant crags overlap in layers, clouds rolling away over the lean mountain.
