歲旦上堂。歲朝坐禪。萬事自然。心心絕待佛佛現前。清白十分江上雪。謝郎滿意釣漁船參。

Ascending the hall on New Year's Day: Sitting in meditation on New Year's morning, all things are naturally as they are. Thought after thought transcends duality; Buddha after Buddha appears before us. Utterly pure and white, like snow upon the river; Master Xie is fully content in his fishing boat. Practice!
