送監收上堂。地藏栽田博飯。南泉買鎌割禾。六祖負舂明歷歷。金牛捧鉢笑呵呵。見成受用。分曉來麼。古人得恁飽參殺。爾輩莫嫌辛苦多。

Seeing off the harvest overseer, ascending the hall: "Dizang tilled the fields to barter for rice; Nanquan bought a sickle to cut the grain. The Sixth Ancestor carrying the pestle is clearly evident; Jinniu holding his bowl chuckles heartily. Ready-made use—is it clearly understood? The ancients were thus deeply devoted to practice; you people must not complain of too much hardship."
