上堂。難難難是遣情難。情盡圓明一顆寒。大法眼不相謾。面前不破案山礙。直下無津識浪乾。

Ascending the hall: "Difficult, difficult, difficult—shedding passions is difficult. When passions are exhausted, a single pearl is round, bright, and cold. The Great Eye of the Dharma does not deceive; in front, without breaking, the table mountain obstructs; right below, without a ford, the waves of consciousness run dry."
