上堂。三十三人不得而為師。二十八代不得而稱祖。衲僧家。識得本命元辰。敢開恁麼大口。且道。如何體悉。親到劫前空四壁。自然體盡見全身。

Ascending the hall: "Thirty-three people could not become masters; twenty-eight generations could not be called patriarchs. Patch-robed monks recognize their fundamental destiny and primary constellation, daring to open such a big mouth. Tell me, how do you experience this? Personally arriving before the kalpas where the four walls are empty, naturally the body is exhausted and the whole body appears."
