歲旦上堂。時節之新。天地之仁。草木薦春。爻象之亨。陽和之生。物彙咸榮。玉機之轉。霧豹之變。家風成見。居谷之神。出軸之雲。其用不勒。且道。如何體悉。還會麼。但得雪消去。自然春到來。

Ascending the hall on New Year's Day: "The newness of the season, the benevolence of heaven and earth. Grasses and trees usher in spring, the hexagrams signify prosperity. The warmth of yang arises, all species flourish. The turning of the jade loom, the transformation of the leopard in the mist: the family style becomes visible. The spirit dwelling in the valley, the cloud emerging from the mountain peaks: their function is not curbed. Tell me, how do you experience this? Do you understand? As long as the snow melts away, spring naturally arrives."
