供聖施主請上堂。心心智通。佛佛道同。十方圓滿。八面玲瓏。施時也三乘教備。坐處也一切法空。應供而來有不受之受。度世而出得無功之功。動而常靜。用時彌冲。處處不乖兮。水中夜月。物物斯應兮。華上春風。只如教中道。佛身充滿於法界。普現一切群生前。一佛身既滿法界。只如千佛身。著在什麼處。還相委悉麼。音聲不凝調和樂。光影相容互照燈。

Invited by the dānapati offering to the sages, [the Master] ascended the hall: "Mind to mind, wisdom penetrates; Buddha to Buddha, the Way is identical. Complete in the ten directions, clear and luminous on all eight sides. At the time of giving, the teachings of the three vehicles are provided; at the place of sitting, all dharmas are empty. Coming to receive the offering, there is the receiving of non-receiving; stepping forth to cross over the world, one attains the merit of non-merit. In motion yet constantly still, when in function it is ever more boundless. Nowhere incongruent—the night moon in the water; every single thing responded to—the spring breeze upon the flowers. Just as it is said in the teachings: 'The Buddha's body fills the Dharmadhātu, universally appearing before all living beings.' Since one Buddha's body already fills the Dharmadhātu, where then are the bodies of a thousand Buddhas placed? Do you understand? Sounds do not stagnate in a harmonized melody; light and shadows intermingle like mutually illuminating lamps."
