寒雪覆顛。閑雲擁肩。動隨爾後。靜住其前。百草頭邊老僧句。
千華臺上古佛禪。法法出礙。
心心密傳。百戰之瘡兮風雨瘢痒。九野之耕兮泥水領穿。

Cold snow covers the crown; idle clouds embrace the shoulders. / Moving, he follows behind you; resting, he abides before it. / The old monk's phrase atop the hundred grasses; / the ancient Buddha's Chan upon the thousand-petaled terrace. / Phenomena after phenomena pass beyond obstruction; / mind after mind is intimately transmitted. / Wounds of a hundred battles: scars itch in wind and rain; / plowing the nine fields: collars worn through by mud and water.
