默默而坐。佛祖勘破。水冷魚潛。天空鳥過。半夜失却牛。
平明拾得火。乍卷乍舒兮無可不可。

Sitting in silence, thoroughly checking buddhas and patriarchs.
Water is cold and fish submerge; the sky is vast and birds pass by.
At midnight losing the ox; at daybreak picking up fire.
Suddenly rolling up, suddenly spreading out: nothing is permissible, nothing impermissible.
