是兮不是。別兮不別。水冷涵秋。山寒帶雪。傳家之印兮中間無文。
常用之針兮兩頭無穴。
游世之身雲月間。說禪之口河漢決。自然隨順因緣。
向道不乖時節。

Is, yet is not; / Different, yet not different. / The cold water holds autumn; / The freezing mountain bears snow. / The family-transmitting seal has no inscription within; / The commonly used needle has no eye at either end. / The body wandering through the world is amid clouds and the moon; / The mouth expounding Chan bursts forth like the Heavenly River. / Naturally complying with causes and conditions, / Turning to the Way without going against the seasons.
