兩限深秀。雙眉下垂。面目嚴冷。身心古錐。雲水盤游。
尋常夢於行脚。叢林寂默。三十年之住持。
窮河漢於崑崙之椒。淵源親到。拈斗杓於混沌之外。
佛祖猶疑。變通不倦。施設隨宜。
向道剎塵機用穩。却嫌石火電光遲。

Two eyes deep and graceful; / Both eyebrows drooping down. / Countenance austere and cold; / Body and mind like an ancient awl. / Roaming as clouds and waters, / Commonly dreaming of wandering on foot; / Silent and serene in the monastic groves, / Thirty years as abbot. / Tracing the Heavenly River to the summit of Mount Kunlun, / Arriving personally at the profound source. / Grasping the handle of the Dipper outside of primordial chaos, / Even the Buddhas and Patriarchs still wonder. / Adapting without wearying, / Setting up provisions according to suitability. / Directing to the Way, the functioning in every dust-mote land is stable; / Disdaining even the spark from stone and flash of lightning as slow.
