岩岩之骨兮山癯。靡靡之姿兮水腴。心無住而乃久。
德有隣而不孤。虛空說法。頑石聽徒。
互換證明還了了。何煩佛祖費工夫。

Craggy bones: gaunt as a mountain; / Graceful demeanor: rich as water. / The mind has no abiding and thus endures; / Virtue has neighbors and is not lonely. / Empty space expounds the Dharma; / The stubborn stones are disciples who listen. / Mutually verifying, returning to distinct clarity; / Why trouble the Buddhas and Patriarchs to waste their effort?
