默而藏妙而光。月之輪窄。斗之柄長。扶來草木春濡綠。
奪去山川霜落黃。相契可處。自然成章。

Silent, yet concealing wonder; bright, yet shining.
The wheel of the moon is narrow;
The handle of the Dipper is long.
Sustained, the grass and trees are moistened green by spring;
Stripped away, the mountains and rivers drop yellow under frost.
Where they tally and agree,
A pattern is formed of itself.
