內非可形。外還絕稱。妙圓一句。通變諸乘。混十界心而靜其念。
吞三世佛而空其膺。真機了了。
祖意繩繩。偏去正來兮。閑閑受用。圓規方矩兮。
恰恰相應。

Internally, it cannot be given form; / externally, it defies all designation. / The wondrous and complete single phrase / permeates and transforms the various vehicles. / Blending the minds of the ten realms, it quiets their thoughts; / swallowing the buddhas of the three times, it empties their breasts. / The true mechanism is lucid; / the ancestral intent is continuously unbroken. / Bias departs and upright arrives— / leisurely enjoying its use. / Compass circular and carpenter's square rectilinear— / they correspond precisely.
