雪拭晚晴。水受秋清。天空四壁。月冷三更。湛存而獨立。
定應而周行。二儀之道成且平。萬像之印虛不盈。
鷗鳥情間機事外。夕陽沙上未寒盟。

Snow wiped clean in the evening clearing; / Water receiving the autumn's purity. / Sky bare on all four sides; / The moon is cold in the third watch. / Serenely enduring and independently standing; / Settled in response and moving everywhere. / The way of the two modes is accomplished and level; / The seal of the myriad phenomena is empty and does not overflow. / The gulls' sentiments are at leisure, outside contrivance; / On the sunset sands, the covenant has not grown cold.
