本來無物。當處出生。白𣯶𣯶之頭髮。烏律律之眼睛。
誰敢居尊宿。僧相奉老成。現威儀住滅定。
隨影響放光明。玳瑁海深難尋含月之蚌。
珊瑚林沒誰見𩥇潮之鯨。

Originally not a single thing, / Arising directly where it is. / Grey, straggling hair, / Jet-black, piercing eyes. / Who dares dwell as a venerable senior? / The monastic assembly honours ripe maturity. / Manifesting dignified deportment, abiding in the cessation of feeling; / Following reflections and echoes, releasing bright illumination. / In the depths of the tortoiseshell sea, it is hard to find the clam holding the moon; / In the sunken coral grove, who sees the whale leaping through the tide?
