中夏上堂。結夏已過了。解夏猶未來。中間一句子。蓮花照水開。因甚落草。止啼元只為嬰孩。

Ascending the hall in mid-summer: Entering the summer retreat has already passed; releasing the summer retreat has not yet arrived. The single phrase right in the middle: lotus flowers open reflecting upon the water. Why fall into the weeds? Stopping the crying is originally only for the infant.
