上堂。外不放入。內不放出。痛下一槌。萬事了畢。且道。如何大白峯前令斬新。內外紀綱俱委悉。

Ascending the hall: "Not letting anything enter from outside; not letting anything out from inside. Deliver a painful blow with the hammer, and all affairs are concluded. But tell me, how is it? Before Mount Dabai, the command is brand-new; the order within and without is thoroughly understood."
