【八】舉翠嵒夏末示眾云。一夏以來。為兄弟說話（開口焉知恁麼）看翠嵒眉毛在麼（只贏得眼睛也落地。和鼻孔也失了。入地獄如箭射）保福云。作賊人心虛（灼然是賊識賊）長慶云。生也（舌頭落地。將錯就錯。果然）雲門云。關（走在什麼處去。天下衲僧跳不出。敗也）。

[8] Case:
At the end of the summer retreat, Cuiyan instructed the assembly, saying, "All summer long I have spoken for the brothers; (Opening your mouth, how could you know it would come to this?)
