翠巖示徒（這老賊。教壞人家男女）千古無對（千箇萬箇。也有一箇半箇。分一節）
關字相酬（不信道。不妨奇特。若是恁麼人。方解恁麼道）失錢遭罪（飲氣吞聲。雪竇也不少。和聲便打）
潦倒保福（同行道伴。猶作這去就。兩箇三箇）
抑揚難得（放行把住。誰是同生同死。莫謗他好。且喜沒交涉）嘮嘮翠巖（這野狐精。合取口好）分明是賊（道著也不妨。捉敗了也）
白圭無玷（還辨得麼。天下人不知價）
誰辨真假（多只是假。山僧從來無眼。碧眼胡僧）長慶相諳（是精識精。須是他始得。未得一半在）
眉毛生也（在什麼處。從頂門上。至脚跟下。一莖草也無）

Cuiyan addressed the disciples, (This old thief—teaching someone else's sons and daughters to go bad!)
Matchless through a thousand ages. (Out of thousands and myriads, there is also one or a half. Cut off a section!)

The white jade has no flaw; (Can you still distinguish it? People under heaven do not know the price.)
Who can tell the real from the fake? (Most are just fake. This mountain monk has never had eyes. Blue-eyed Hu monk!)
Changqing intimately understood: (It takes an expert to know an expert. It had to be him before it would do. Not even half gotten!)
'The eyebrows have grown!' (Where are they? From the crown of the head down to the heels, not even a blade of grass!)
