A monk asked: 'What is snatching away the person but not the environment?' The Master said: 'The warm sun bursts forth, spreading brocade across the earth; the infant's hanging hair is white as silk.' (Dahui said: 'Of these two phrases, one phrase preserves the environment, and one phrase snatches away the person.')
