心心心。難可尋。寬時遍法界。窄也不容針。亦不覩惡而生嫌。亦不觀善而勤措。亦不捨智而近愚。亦不抱迷而就悟。達大道兮過量。通佛心兮出度。不與凡聖同躔。超然名之曰祖。

Mind, mind, mind: difficult to seek. / When wide, it pervades the dharmadhātu; / When narrow, it does not admit a needle. / Neither beholding evil to give rise to dislike, / Nor observing good to diligently establish it; / Neither casting off wisdom to approach foolishness, / Nor clutching delusion to seek awakening. / Penetrating the Great Way transcends all measure; / Comprehending the Buddha-mind surpasses all limits. / Not treading the same track as ordinary or sage, / Transcendent, one is named an ancestor.
