答：「未達無生正理，惟修生滅有因。起貪著之心，懷希望之意；以苦捨苦，從迷積迷；匍匐昇沈，輪迴莫已。蒸砂之喻，足可明之。」

He replied: “They have not realized the correct principle of non-arising, and cultivate only the causes that pertain to arising and ceasing. Giving rise to minds of craving and attachment, and harboring thoughts of expectation, they abandon suffering with suffering, and accumulate delusion from delusion; crawling, rising and sinking, their transmigration never ceases. The analogy of steaming sand is sufficient to illuminate this.”
