真淨住歸宗。每歲化主納疏。布帛雲委。真淨視之顰蹙。已而嘆曰。信心膏血。予慚無德何以克當（李商老日涉記）。

When Zhenjing resided at Guizong, every year the fundraising monks would present their registers, with cloth and silks piled up like clouds. Zhenjing looked at them and knitted his brows; thereafter he sighed and said: "The fat and blood of faithful minds! I am ashamed of having no virtue; how can I be equal to receiving this?" (Li Shanglao, Rishe ji)
