太平人物侈心開。受用殷繁養禍胎。慚愧未生癡福盡。
災荒水旱驀頭來。

In times of peace, people's minds open to extravagance;
Lavish consumption nurtures the womb of disaster.
Before shame is born, foolish blessings are exhausted,
And calamities of flood and drought strike straight at one's head.
